My mother knitted a head band for my Basset Hound puppy. His ears were dragging and wearing the tips!

It worked until his legs grew longer.

Clever solution for these lucky little pooches.

Having had a dog that ate some rubber bands (that came on the newspaper),  I would keep a close eye on those scrunchies......

Re: New use for a scrunchie

They make something called Snoods for dogs that go around their head and keep their ears out of their food.  Snoods seem like they'd be a lot more comfortable than scrunchies.  Lots of shops on Etsy make snoods.  When I had Cavalier King Charles Spaniels there were lots of Cavalier owners that used them.

I always bought spaniel bowls for my dogs that were narrow enough for their ears to go around.

Ha! Ha!  I used to do that with my Pekingese.  They work like a champ!

Small scrunchies work good for pesky long bangs too!
