I based our rescue's name (my avatar) on the name of the rescue.

Our rescue group's name is 'One Love' and 'One Love' was the name of a hit song by reggae artist Bob Marley, who was from Kingston, Jamaica.

Voila! His name is Kingston, LOL!

I had a beagle when I was a child. Her name was Hannah. I like human names for dogs. I thought I would name my next girl dog Jane, but our next female was already named Abby and she was 1 year old so we just kept her name.

How about Sugar or Honey because she will be sweet. Molly is always cute.

If she has a timid personality, Lady? (As in Little Lady).

Also, Buttercup, Maggie, or Ginger.

How about using the surname of your favorite musical artist---McCartney, Springsteen, Dion, etc.

But you know what?

I would want to name her a name that I really liked. You will want to like that name and saying it.

You could go through a name book online-just search names for girls (either human or dogs)

and some should jump out at you that you like!
