Re: Need to ask for a favor . . .

@Jo1313 I had posted an update that he was doing better and his tests were all in the normal range. But he seems to be having a relapse, he stopped eating again and would not come for treats or to bed. I bought him Gerber baby food and started him on that yesterday, it's what I usually turn to when we have an ailing kitty. He has eaten 3 meals of it and even ate a bit of his other canned food. He's coming to eat at meal time again so it is a big step in the right direction.

Thanks for your concern, I appreciate it.

My Old lady calico has longer hair too..I did mention it before...the vet told me to a 1 QUARTER of a teaspoon of Miralax( has no flavor) to her wet food daily..They don't want her to have a harsh laxative..it seems to help..have been doing it a couple of months...All her other tests were normal for her age.

We want to keep her as long as we can..She's almost 20..Sorry to say she will be our last.

We are not in good health and we're old!..

there would be no one to take another..We took her from the shelter when she was 9..They were so thrilled we wanted an older cat.

I wish you good luck in trying to get Fred feeling better..

Thank you for being a responsible pet person, @Jo1313. We just lost our old fella in January, he was 24 and was16 when we took him from the shelter. I miss him.

Sorry to hear Fred's appetite is up and down. It's good at least that he's eating and getting back closer to his normal routines. We're thinking of him.Heart

What a beautiful cat!  I hope the Vet visit will result in a good report for Fred and peace of mind for you.
