Orion & Handsome are beutiful! he doesnt look 20 at all.

does he have any health problems in his old age? just wanted to compare.

Arrow is now with his brother, Cupid. Although romping around Heaven now, they are both keeping an eye on you, remaining close by. They realize the loving sacrifice you made by letting them go back to God; and, their hearts are joined with yours by the endless love you shared.

Watch for signs, they will come; be still and you will feel their presence. And, open your heart because when Arrow and Cupid know the time is right, they will send another furbaby/furbabies to you - specially selected by your loving boys!

My heart, along with everyone who's lost a furbaby, is with you during this horrendous time. Though it's difficult, realize you are not alone.

Handsome had arthritits in his lower back at about 18 years. Overall he did well. He still loved to play, eventhought it was modified due to the arthritis. His mental health was excellent. He never suffered any cognitive dysfunction. He had pneumonia at 20 and he made it through and bounced back. He died of throat cancer at 21. That was hard because it progresses very very fast. Other than the arthritis he had no physical or mental heatlh issues until the pneumonia and cancer.

gizmogal, you did the right thing for Arrow. Sounds like he was in pain and you set him free of that. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had to do the same thing for two of my precious dogs. I live alone too and cherish the love and company of my dogs. When you feel like you're ready, please adopt a new kitty friend. Peace and better times lay ahead. Loving thoughts.....SC
