Your pooches are/were very adorable.  Ginger's very fortunate to have you for her Mom .. & Wilma was also.  It's so sad when they leave us but I believe we're in their hearts always as they are in ours.

We have a six year old cairn terrier named Alfie.  He loves treats, belly rubs and walks every day.  We live in a retirement complex and all the neighbors love and spoil him.  Some of them even offer to walk him (most recently last evening).  He loves to sit near the front porch every evening when he can meet and greet neighbors as they walk past.  He loves people!    Alfie thinks every day is dog day.

@AnikaBrodie   Which one is yours?  Cairn terriers are so cute!  I used to know someone who bred and showed them.

Alfie's "look-alike" is on the left.  He is a gray brindle.  The middle dog has similar coloring to our former cairn, Brodie, who was a wheaten.  Brodie was a certified pet therapist but Alfie is our neighborhood therapist who makes people smile every day.
