@Sushismom

Buster & Chopper were both very handsome kitties.

That's a cute story about Buster & Simon.  I use to have a brother/sister & the sister use to go to Jasper & swat him in the head .. just because!

My heart goes out to you over losing Sweet Buster.  It's good you were with him while seeing him off to The Bridge.  He's now welcomed to all the many pets up there & will be loved.

Thank you for rescuing & loving him.   Heart

And here I thought only Buster swatted another kitty upside the head!

Unfortunately, I wasn't with him when he made the crossing. They only allowed 2 people in and, since he's been with them for almost 10 years now, I thought my nephew and his wife should be there.

I did get to see him last Friday, though.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood when Buster passed.

I really believe there're many kitties out there that do swatting.  As a matter of fact, my 2 current senior girls, when they were younger, my Fluffy would go up to Ginger & lick her, then swat her.  Never could figure out the reason for the licking, then the swatting .. oh well, kitties will be kitties.   Heart

No problem. I probably wasn't too clear about it.

The funny thing about Buster swatting Simon is he would do it and then RUN! By the time Simon was awake enough to look around, Buster would be gone.

And he and Chopper would play footsies under my nephew's door while he still lived with me. And the reason for that is Buster and Chopper would chase each other up and down the stairs and into nephew's room and on his bed durring the middle of the night.

I miss them both.

Sending my condolences to your

nephew,his family and to you on

the loss of cherished Buster.

I hope all of you find comfort

in the fact that Buster always

knew how much he was loved,that

he was surrounded by that same love

when he was sent to The Bridge in

peace and with dignity and that

he's now running like a kitten with

all of his new friends thru the sunlit

meadows of that most blessed place.

I'll light a special memorial candle

for Buster at the pet loss dot com site.

@Sushismom

I love how kitties play.

I don't blame you for missing them both.  But, if it's any consolation to you,

I find they stay in your heart & memories forever.  And, feel blessed you had the opportunity to care & love them.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend with loads of sunshine.  It makes us feel better.  Take care.
