Pet Lovers

My friend has a sweet pitbull that has a tumor in her face.  Her dog has had the tumor for a couple of years, but now it is getting larger and the dog is having difficulty eating.  When I first got Story my friend didn't want her dog to get near Story because she was afraid her dog would bite Story.  I told her to just let them be, ignore them and let them walk together.  The dogs got along great - sniffed together, walked side by side, quickly became best friends.  We often walked our dogs together until she moved away.  I feel so bad for my friend and for Story, she's losing her second best friend (I think Sedona is her first, but not sure about that).

You (and Story) are showing such kindness.  That is what friends are for - the good times and the bad.

Aww, poor pittie baby and poor her mom.  What a touching thing , making a special trip to let her puppy and Story have some time together.  I hope the weather is nice so they can hang out in nature and I hope Sedona is okay too. May they have a day filled with friendship and love.

@tends2dogs - My friend and her husband have no children.  Lexy is their child and they have had her since a pup - I feel so bad for them.
