My dog was very ill last night...

He would not settle down...kept running around and barking..he did this most of the night...I remember we had a cat that did that after eating a poisonous plant!! ..I remember hearing a salt truck in the parking lot..we had snow last night. Seems dogs are very sensitive to rock salt...I had noticed he'd been licking his paws alot. So I washed off his paws..and when I take him out now, I carry him and place him on the grass. They can go into a coma and die...this is good information..! If something would have happened to my baby...I woud have been devastated! Thank God for Google!

Thanks, he's eating and seems ok...he's doing better then I am...never did get to sleep, I was afraid too. If only we could understand what they're trying to tell us!

Walmart has a pet friendly snow melt made by Road Runner. Maybe he was in pain? Glad he was better today!

He slept most of the day...he's been drinking water and has his appetite back! I told him I was sorry...I should have been a better mommy...its very cold here tonight..hope this doesn't mean we'll have a cold winter! Thanks Drythe!

glad your dog is ok. I just lost my pet to cancer a few days ago and it is very hard. be careful

Oh NO! I'm so sorry!!!!!! Yes. its terribly hard...I do know it says in the Bible that our animals will go to heaven..why wouldn't they?? They are so precious and sweet and love unconditionally..I hope this gives you comfort. I like to think of my furbabies..(and they're many!) living the good life w/my parents and thier furbabies..! No more pain,sickness or sadness...enjoying life the way God meant it to be..for eternity! We'll see them again!!!
