That behavior would scare me. I would just get out of bed and let the dog get up when he/she is ready.  I think you should be concerned. It is not funny. That behavior is aggressive and the dog is being dominant. I would be cautious around other people.

There was an article that said these are one of the breeds that display aggressive behavior. Also, it is hard to get homeowner's insurance. You need to show them that you are the leader.
