Although she is with you, thanking you, waiting for you in spirit, it's so hard 'cause you can't cuddle, kiss, look into her eyes. Unfortunately the stronger the loving bond, the greater the hurt when they leave this earth and go on  to something greater.  But, the special love you and she had lives forever and will get you through this time  you will get through if for her!

My heart and my deepest condolences

goes out to you at this most devastating

time in your life.

I can relate to the deep sense of pain

and loss that you're dealing with as I've

been down that same terrible road many

times before and will be again at some

point as I'm mommy to five rescued kitties.

I do hope that you'll find solace in the

fact that Sweetness always knew in her

doggy heart how very much you loved

her,that she was surrounded by that

same love when you sent her to The

Bridge in peace and with dignity, and

that she's now running like a puppy with

all of her new friends thru the sunlit

meadows of that most blessed place.

pommom....I'm so sorry.  You did all the right things.  She heard your loving words as she left.  Your love kept her alive for, perhaps, longer than she might have stayed.  It is just so hard to let our kids move on.  You will always have each other....much love and light to you and your precious girl.

@pommom, I am so sorry for the loss of your "Sweet Old Gal".  Like so many have stated, the love that you shared was important to both of you.  You gave your furbaby a happy life and she gave you many wonderful moments and memories.  It was so loving how you stayed with her and tried to comfort her until her passing. It may not seem like it now, but your feelings of devastation will lessen and your memories of her will help sustain you. My thoughts are with you

So sorry....

I lost my Maltese Tiffany this past Feb suddenly.... She was 12, and all of a sudden she had either a stroke or heart attack. She was gone before we got her to the Vet.

My other Malt still looks for her.....It is never easy
