I didnt want to usurp the other pet photos thread but I though others might enjoy my two favorite Christmas photos.  These are not my dogs or cats.  I just like the photos.  The dog is a smooth coated collie, one of my favorite breeds.

Love them....had a collie when a very young age before we had a fence.........you guessed what happened.

Love Collies too. We've had sable and blue merle collies in the past. They

are beautiful dogs. I don't see many these days unfortunately.

Beautiful dog.  I'm not sure I've ever seen a smooth coated collie in person before.  The kitten diving head first into the stocking is hilarious.  All of them are precious.

Love the pictures.  When I was a kid growing up, we had a minature collie which, of course, was named Lassie.  She was the smartest, sweetest and most affectionate dog ever!  Thank you for reminding me of those wonderful years growing up with her.  

These days, I have three kitties that we adopted or should I say, they adoped us at different times by appearing on our back deck looking for a forever home.

@threecees   That picture looks just like the Collie I had.  She's past now.  

@Kachina624   The picture of the cats was the front of a card I bought to send to a friend.  I think I bought it at Cracker Barrel.  They have the best animal cards.

@ciao_bella   I'm not trying to be rude, but there are no mineature collies.  They are called Shetland Sheep Dogs, or Shelties.
