@monicakm

Belgian shepherds are highly protective, high energy and are extremely loyal breeds. My mom had a black Belgian shepherd (Groenendael). He was so intelligent and very loving.

His hair was like silk!

That's a beautiful dog!  Are they kinda the same as a Belgian Malinois?  These dogs are used in the police force and military.  I'm more suited to a big lap dog.  My current inside dog is not a cuddler.  He will humor you for 30 minutes maybe and go to his bed.  But he's ferociously protective and being out here alone all day where no one could hear me scream, I like that in a big dog.

Agree, she looks like a golden doodle ( they are pricey) and I bet someone is looking for her!  Thanks for saving her and I bet it was an accident that she got loose without ID-

I think your dearly departed brother may have sent her to you.

That's so special and something I thought of myself.  Thank you.

The four breeds of Belgians:

(a black Malinois is very rare)

Is the Belgian Shepherd a breed or is it an umbrella term for four distinct breeds (Malinois, Laekenois, Tervuren, Grœnendael)? - Quora

@monicakm Sounds like the poor ill-kept baby was dumped. I've seen many stories locally and on other FB pages of people finding pets that have been abandoned. I think some just can't afford the care and food and some are just tired of their "toy".

Thank you for taking the time to care for her and keep her safe. I hope you're able to keep her ... if you decide you want to.

Hard to tell what her size is by the pictures, but some sort of 'oodle' is a good guess. Depending on how young she is ... the hair texture could change as she gets older.

Unfortunately,now more than ever, dogs are being dumped at alarming rates nationwide ... even expensive purebred dogs. In the past couple of months in my area, people have found a Xoloitzcuintli, a Mastiff, an English Bulldog and several Pugs ... and no owners came forward for any of them.

Keep us updated on your adventure

@monicakm  I love Belgian Malinois dogs and they are used extensively as K-9 officers!

Hope all is ok with her,i do think she is so cute, i don't get how people can just dump animals, they need payback in some way. I assume you have a crate,just in case all your dogs need time to get use to each other.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.
