Re: MY BELOVED TABITHA IS AT THE BRIDGE

"Her head was nestled in the crook of

my elbow and she was looking at

me with those beautiful pea green eyes.

I could tell that she was at peace.

At one point Tabitha stretched out her left

front leg and placed her left paw over my heart...and kept it there until we reached

the vet's office...and her eyes were still

on me the entire time."

This is a description of love.

Tabitha loved you and put her all her trust in you to help her. She told you she was at peace, that everything would be okay, that she was ready to go to The Bridge.

Dear friend, may you find comfort in knowing you gave Tabitha a wonderful life and helped her when she needed it most.

I started to cry as I read the first

post and am still crying as I'm writing

this.

Tabitha had such a unique personality

and was quite the social butterfly.

Whenever friends came into the cottage

my other kitties disappeared into the

woodwork but not Tabitha. She greeted

everyone and made sure that she was the

center of attention. Everyone who met

this precious girl fell in love with her.

She also loved yogurt so I always made

sure to have a cup of plain non fat

yogurt in the fridge. Whenever I was

having my cup of yogurt I'd put a few

teaspoons of the plain into her bowl and

we'd have our yogurt together.

Tabitha always followed me about the

cottage. If I was looking out of

the large picture window in the

living room she'd jump up on the

sill, lean against me and look out

of the window too.She always wanted

to be near me and I always welcomed

her furry presence...which is why

I desperately miss it so very much.

The cottage is not the same now

that my sweet girl is gone.

I wanted you to know that -this page- _WAS_ where I had begun, but I am reviewing back, now, and do remember I was beginning and someone interrupted me at the front entry and I canceled.

I feel humbly, so very sorry ``of all the posters having pets`` _I_  would have been that distracted, 'not' sending immediately          ~~~THAT I HAD REMEMBERED your Tabitha, and that I knew from years ago that you had adopted her when she was a kitten. Please accept my sincere condolences for this little girly pet you had given so much love, respectively, and your undivided attention to, along with your dear other four.

I loved that she, too loved yogurt, the same as my KittieCream, even though we never actually had her that long from the shelter when she was surrendered on her 10th birthday March 16th of 2016. But those  *seven* months were pure bliss before the squamous cell carcinoma was diagnosed. 1 year ago, Oct.19.

We all have Remembered your Tabitha through the years when I was on pet lovers during the time we had and lost our CREAM; YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE, EVEN FOR THE 15 MONTHS TRYING TO FIND HIM. I shall never forget your concerned caring and ~please~ know I never forgot your Tabitha.

I am amazed, from reading, here -how much you do in connection to saving all pets, unwanted, homeless and those recently affected from hurricane Harvey, needing asap care and being transferred. Fifteen years (almost) of pure love from 'any' unconditional connection / with pet or human is remarkable, and you have always succeeded in that for the 6 years I have known you.

Loving your work, loving your contributions, time and unselfish BEING  Y O U!

Always remembering how much you have cared for Tabitha and those before her. Heart Cat Happy..."and she was loved"

Dearest NAES...

You don't owe me any apologies just

because you didn't write your sweet

post until now. In fact it was such a

wonderful surprise.

I cherish and deeply appreciate every

word of it just as I cherish our long

friendship and do wish that so many

miles didn't separate us.

Wishing you a blessed remainder of the week.
