My paramour has a pure bred black long haired German shepard.  They make great guard dogs when professionally trained to do so.

The black ones kind of remind me of my Scotty when I let his hair grow in the winter instead of getting his Scotty shirt cut.

Beautiful dogs inside and out. We had a female fawn colored. What a sweet soul she had. Loved to go in the car with me. We lost her to cancer but she remains in our hearts.
