You really are doing all you can for Kingston, that's what we did for our beautiful Sammy. Your love will shine through to him. Make this time all about him and he will know that. I'm sending love for you, your family and Kingston. He's a lucky boy and so are you to have him. Keep the faith. X

We had a ramp there for our last 2 kids, when they got older and had mobility issues.
I had decided we wouldn't have any other pets due to our age, so we removed it.
But then Kingston and his past just melted my heart.
We're looking into ramps for my SUV and DH's truck, open to suggestions from our 'Pet Lovers' family if anyone has experience with them and can recommend a brand.
@KingstonsMom, I had a ramp from a company in FL. Can't remember the name of the company but it was a small company - don't think there's too many online so you might do a search. Got it for Jade when she was sick, then tried it for Eddy - think it could hold at lease 125lbs.
But, neither could use it so I donated it to the ACO. I have a Jeep Cherokee. Unable to line the ramp up 'cause rear doors only open to an angle. Rear gate was fine, but angle too steep. More rear leg muscle is required on those ramps. Something I hadn't thought of. It's different than having a stairway ramp. This ramp was taller than me and very heavy - also carpeted - so there's a lot of weight involved. Imho, it'd probably be easier for everyone if your DH just picked up and put Kingston in the SUV. Going up/down a ramp is gonna be rough on Kingston. I could be wrong, just my experience.

@KingstonsMom I'm so sorry about Kingston. Here's to hoping he'll feel better after the appointment with the specialist.

Oh, my friend ,
I'm glad to see tomorrow come too, so that we know what we're dealing with and if there's a possible remedy, but at the same time, I'm terrified that there won't be.
I cry a lot seeing the changes in him, thinking about what his future may hold and I don't sleep or eat much.
I try really hard not to be a pessimistic person, but my life experiences from childhood, life experiences etc., made me into one.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I'm the only one who's had bad experiences in life, I know many have and I identify with all of you.

My DH has a good saying for when I'm very worried about our pets: "Don't borrow trouble."
Tomorrow is the beginning of answers for Kingston. No matter what comes, you'll have direction to help him.
Please keep us posted as you're able.

Thank you so much, you're very sweet.
I made him a special dinner tonight and he wolfed it down!
His appetite hasn't been much lately, so that was good to see.
