He was a severely abused (set on fire) rescue when he adopted us.

Besides never knowing kindness from a human, he'd never had a toy or a comfy bed, so he thinks those are just the greatest things!

Nah.....we don't spoil him.....much! LOL!

Yup, my little boy is right with him.....two stuffed lambies and an assortment of chew bones.  Just like kids...favorite toys are not out of sight.  Love your precious Kingston.

So perfect, @KingstonsMom  It makes your heart go up a few sizes, I think.  

Anytime I saw my last dog (before the one I have now) choose toys, carry them around, and take them to bed with her, that's how I felt.

What a cutie Kingston is!  I think their toys are their "security blankets".  Most dogs I know of do the same.   They can be such big babies but we pet parents wouldn't have it any other way

What an awful thing to "Mr. Lovebug" Kingston.  Never ceases to amaze me the cruelty of some a**hol*s.  I'm so glad he has a loving home with you now.  

Such a sad story & he now has a happy life now.  He recovered for a reason - for you to love him.

I hope you have many enjoyable years to be happy together.

I believealthough we have free will, our lives are preplanned.  And, I believe Kingston is a special gift from God, knowing @KingstonsMom  would give him the perfect loving home he deserves.  At the same time, Kingston gives @KingstonsMom  exactly what she needs.  I guess what I'm trying to say @ScenicMaine  is it's all predestined and love and circumstanes come into our lives when truly needed and help us on our life's journey.
