Chloe is so cute, what a face!  I don't know of any dogs that doesn't freak out during thunderstorms😢

My little guy doesn't!  When I brought him home I was living in SoFl and near a city park where 4th of July fireworks were launched.  I took advantage of every thunderstorm to clap and dance and ohhh and ahhh and have a great time so he associated the noise with fun.  Now, at 11, he still thinks thunderstorms and fireworks are great.  Given the chance he runs toward the source of the noise barking and twirling and chasing.  He was well conditioned and I was lucky he has the personality to respond positively.

You were so smart. I always made noise when my son was a baby so he could sleep through anything. Never thought to do that with my pets. Hope it's not too late for Khloe

That is such a cute dog! I wonder if it would help is you set up a little bed or nest under your bed with a t shirt that smells like you. It may help for the time that storms come when you are not there.

I made noise with the thunder and fireworks too. My problem was that the girls see it as a time now to raise the roof! Now I am telling them to hush.

Thank you and I will do that, will place a night shirt under my bed just in case the weather turns. When my son started school, he carried a little cotton ball sprayed with my perfume just in case.

Poor baby. My Cee Cee is completely petrified of thunder and lightening. She is so pitiful when there's a storm. We've tried many things but none have been the trick just yet. I'm sure she'd agree with your Khloe that these thunderstorms are very much not welcome image.jpeg

@zengirll Cee Cee is beautiful, she's too cute. Khloe is doing better if I'm home to hold her but not if she's alone.
