@Estates wrote:I was driving to work last Saturday morning.A pan handler was at one of the corners and had a tiny kitten clinging to his shoulder. I asked him where he got it and he found it in a dumpster. Well,it was 90 degrees and look petrified. I couldn't leave it there so I asked if I could take it. I offered him some money and he gladly gave it to me. I got it to the vet as soon as I could. She is a little girl covered with fleas and ear mites, very skinny. But we did all the tessp[------899t and she was healthy. The vet assigned her a birth date making her 5 weeks old. The date was my beloved MIL's actual birthday so she was named in her honor. She's spunky, fierce and brave like she was. The vet said she would have probably only lasted a few days..She bouncing around right now with her ball and mouse having a good ole time.No sign of trauma at all. She will be loved like all my cats for the past 32 years. So dumpster kittens count, right?
PS-above was her walking on the keyboard LOL
That was a wonderful thing you did by rescuing that kitten @Estates. The pan handler did a good thing, too, by not leaving her in the dumpster. I can't imagine how anyone could do that.
