I have had 20 cats through the years and 12 at one time.  Each one has a special place in my heart. They always have been the joy of my life!!

I've posted before, but it never gets old: I LOVE cats.  I only have one (Lee Lee) right now, but I'd have another two or three if I could.

I'm loving reading all the posts and seeing all the pics!  When I was growing up, we were a dog only house and neve cared for cats.  That is, until my best friend got her first one.  Then I fell in love with kitties!  

Lo and behold at my former apt. complex where I lived, this kitty came walking down the sidewalk to me.  I petted it and figured someone let their cat outside.  Well, this kitty kept coming back every day and then on my patio.  I decided to start feeding it.  I did that for a few months and figured it was abandoned being it was out all the time.  I decided to bring it inside and she hid for a few days and then came out and the rest is history.  I named her Bella and I have her for five years.  She is indoor only.  When I took her for her first check-up, thankfully she was spayed so I was happy for that. She also had no chip.  I love her so much and she is such a good girl!

Here's my precious Bogey  

He was my first cat .... Indoor only, well cared for and loved, and died this April at the age of only eight years old.

No one saw this coming.

Never sick, never even had a flea, and had the best personality.  He was the four-legged love of my life.   

He seemed a little tired .... and then he was gone.

@fairydogmother - I remember when you brought Stanley Cup to your loving home. What a lucky little guy he is!
