@Bird mama

All cat Moms have been through this, right? LOL!

And not to leave out dog Mom's, like myself currently:

How To Give A Pill to a Dog

  1. Wrap it in a piece of bacon and toss it.

@KingstonsMom  My first cat Midnight (I think I was in second grade) had to have antiobiotics.  Ma said, can you give her the pill?  I put some butter on it to make it slippery and was 99% sure I saw her swallow it.  I asked my Ma to check and she looked in Midnight's mouth and along her upper and lower gums.  She told me, good job.  15 minutes later Midnight spit the pill out Woman Very Happy

I was so happy when liquid antiobiotics came on the market.  That said, for as long as I lived with a cat I would say, I need 2 bottles.  The vet would give me the side-eye and I would say look, I'm not gonna OD the cat and I'm not gonna hoard it so I don't have to bring her/him in next time.

It's just I'm gonna wear at least 1 of the 2 bottles.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

I hate the liquids. Get more on the cat than in the cat.  But I've been able to pill every cat I've owned.
