Have had so many rescue through the years.  Currently have 10 cats and this sweet little Yorkie, Sebastian.

My 7 rescues: original GS a stray, 2 GS and 2 Collies from Rochester (NY) Animal Control, PWD from an elderly person who could no longer care for her, Greyhound from Greyhound Friends of NC. What I learned from my dogs: consistency from the Shepherds, scary smartness/adaptability of PWDs, to throw all previous training experience out the window when you get a Greyhound off the track, how Collies can steal your heart, and how fun dogs are.

@SeaMaiden All we need is love!  Good for you that you were able to rescue a dog and gain a best friend at the same time.  A best friend starts with a wet nose and ends with a tail!

I see our Mosey, rescued off the streets by animal control and adopted by us from the county shelter in Sept. 2016, is in good company.

I've responded to your post(s) about Kingston awhile ago, when he wasn't well.  He has a magnificent, noble presence and a fighting spirit.  I hope he's doing much better now.
