My friend had a deep russet chestnut Hunter/Jumper horse. her Show Name was name was Brenda Starr.

 

when i was 8 or 9. i went on a trail ride at a Riding Stable and my Dad decided to come with.  i had been riding for a few years by then but it was Dad's first time on a horse. They gave him the oldest, very gentle horse.  We started down the trail for a bit and suddenly Dad's horse's legs buckled and they just plopped down in a heap!  He jumped off immediately and then she decided to roll in the dirt!   That was the first and last time my Dad sat on a horse.
