Really don't think I ever dated anyone whose family didn't have a dog. Some of the dogs were better than some of the guys 🤣

Then he was hauled over to meet mine.

When my husband and I got married he did not really understand why anyone would want a dog. We both worked long hours and traveled when we could so it would not have been practical then and unfair to a dog. Now he said he cannot imagine a home without a dog in it. Now with medical problems and age we don't do much so the dogs give us so much joy. Of course he has all the fun with the dogs and I have all the work. I still think it is worth it...
