You just experienced the worst part of pet ownership.  I'm so sorry.

I know very well the pain you are in, and have experienced it many times myself.  It is gut-wrenching.  

It seems like you will never be able to laugh again or remember the great times you had with sweet Holly, but I guarantee you will, in time.

May Holly be running free and happy, and may your broken heart mend.

I am so sad to hear what I know letting her go broke your heart.

A vet told me once that they let you know when it is time for them to go and I found that to be true.

Never enough time with them.

I wish I could have met her too.

I know the more we love, the more it hurts to let them go.

I do feel that I feel my 3 -their lives, their spirits, and they feel mine.

I know Holly and all of ours are in a different place but I prayed that I would know they were here with me just the same, just not as before.

I hope you will feel Holly too in your life though not in a physical way.

I hope mine meet your Holly. What beautiful loveable dogs theChinese Shar Pei are and what a wonderful dog she must have been and will always be.

@Imaoldhippie  I am so very sorry for your loss, even though you knew it was close and made the kindest, most loving choice you could for your sweet Holly.  You WILL see your darling girl again some day, of that I am sure!

I am so sorry for your loss.  We have two dogs and one

is almost thirteen.  It is so difficult, and it can happen

suddenly.

I still grieve the dogs we have lost.  All were unique,

loyal, dear family members.

Take care of yourself.  I will be thinking of you

and your Holly.
