Where are you at girl?  You've been quiet this year.  Can I get a shoutout from you?

Re: Hey, Forrestwolf - Where are You?

I am here.......I just felt so judged by the post over my recsue puppy, that I felt I should not post here, as many felt I was a money grabber, and not a pet lover......I am such a so opposite.....Honestly....all of my money goes to pets, and Native Americans, and so many judge, without truly knowing me.....

Wolfgang, went to a better place, and I will not put another pet in peril, until I know that the pet will be safe, and free from harm......

I want another puppy doodle so bad, but I want that puppy doodle to be mine...NOT split between several other people that want him/her, but expect me to pay for all vet bills, and food for them, but one that will be my own, and free from harm......

I am just waiting for the day that I have another puppydoodles that enters my heart, like my little Savannah did, and is safe from harm, and is MINE.....I so miss a kissie face from that little rough tongue against my face...

I am trying to find a Native American Indian dog/Carolina dog, to possibly keep the breed from going extint.......

I so need a furbaby at the end of my chaise lounger, on my Native American blanket.....Heart

The strength of the wolf is the pack, and the strength of the pack is the wolf.......

Thank you for giving me a shout out as I am stubborn and would have pestered on a weekly or bi-weekly basis until you answered me.  Just so you know, I can go for years........

Wow, I just looked up the Carolina Dog.  I didn't know another name for the breed is American Dingo.

What a magnificent looking animal

We have about 5 Indian Pueblo within a 30 minute drive of my home.  When you drive into a pueblo, you are immediate met by a pack of the scroungyest mutts you ever saw, of no discernable breed.  Those are Indian dogs.  The Navajo Reservation in the Four Corners area have a rescue group called Rez Dogs.   Very few of these poor creatures are spayed or neutered and I think most have no homes.  My young, beginner vet left an urban practice to go do work on the reservation.  I hope she does lots of neutering.  I'm sure her life will be interesting, to say the least.

I have a cedar chest full of Navajo rugs but keep them far away from my dogs, especially the puppy who would chew them in a heartbeat.

Glad to see you back @forrestwolf.

Here's an interesting video.

@forrestwolf   Here's a picture for you.  These dogs belong to a woman who is a professional photographer.  She also runs a small rescue group.

People who have gotten to know you, know your heart Smiley Happy

Trying to put feelings into writings on a public bb can often be misinterpreted and backfire.

I mostly read but don't post and am glad to see birdmama persisted until you responded.

Once in a while just say hi and i hope you made that trip to see your friend who contacted you on that thread!  Sounds like what you really needed was to just hang out and get away for a bit before facing daily issues again.

take care!
