Henry Meeting My Niece's Dog

My niece came over yesterday for dinner and brought her dog, a shih tzu.  Ava wasn't interested in her at all, but it was still much better than it would have been 3 1/2 mos. ago when I first got her.  Henry was extremely interested.

We sat on my screened in porch, and Henry and my niece's dog looked at each other through the door.  Then I opened the door, and Henry slowly approached her.  He got right up to her and then backed away.  I think if they came over more often they would be friends.

@NickNack  I think Henry is showing her dog who is the boss of the house!

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@NickNack  He is just so handsome.  It's nice he wants to meet "new friends".

Our 2 run and hide if a dog is outside. I don't want to imagine what would happen if one was inside.

Henry looks like he's walking right up to the dog-no fear at all. Like he's sayin', 'so! you the new kid on the block or what?'

I think @SXMGirl gets the prize for photo interpretation!  That's definitely a cat laying down the law.  Very cute.

What well behaved (or well matched) babies.  When I first scrolled down I was afraid there would be blood.

@NickNack  I do not know that they will be friends  but Henry appears to be interested at any rate.  Henry is paws-itively precious!!!
