It sounds like she's doing fine. It can take a while for some to adjust. Once she feels safe, & KNOWS she has a forever home, she'll blossom. 

 

Wand toys are a great bonding tool. Since you hold the wand, & play with them, it puts you in a good light. And the 2 kitties will love playing together, too. 

 

You're right in allowing the new kitty to come to you....on her own time. Talk to her, tell her how much you love her, & that she's safe. Heart
