I learned about this man and his dog sanctuary through Facebook. If you get the chance, please Google him. He's a wonderful man rescuing dogs across the country.
__
A man known for traveling the country and rescuing dogs has established a new dog sanctuary right here in Oregon. Lee Asher of “ The Asher House ” has dedicated his life to inspiring others to help shelter animals live their best life. He joined AM Extra on Friday to tell us more about his efforts.

Yes!!! I've been following Lee for some time now. He is one of the most selfless, generous, loving souls imaginable.
His love is genuine and all encompassing. When he brings a new dog home, there is something magical as they blend into the pack seamlessly. Even those who have passed knew they were loved and cherished in their final days. "Sammy" was one of many such stories.
Lee makes you believe there is happiness in life and sometimes, happiness ever after.
Thank you for your very important post San Antonio Gal!

Yes, he has rescued a lot of dogs. I have even donated a small amount to help him with food and vet bills.

If any of you have the Discovery+ channel, he has a show on there called "My Pack Life". He is on also YouTube. Just type in "The Asher House" in the search bar and his videos will come up.

He rescues farm animals, also, not just dogs. Great guy! Hope having the show brings more funds to his efforts.

I don't have Discovery+ and only learned about the show as Animal Planet just aired the first two episodes. He is so kind and compassionate. What a great show.
My favorite non-dog farm occupant may be Aries, the ram. Who knew rams wagged their tails!?

I love hearing about animal rescue organizations and enjoy following one or two on youtube. I often wonder how they manage the enormous expense of food, vet care, medications like flea control and the enormous amount of work involved on a daily basis. God bless them.
