Have any of you tried this?

[ Edited ]

PetLab Co. ProBright Advanced Dog Dental Powder?

I'm thinking of trying it for my puppy's food.  We get his teeth cleaned twice a year, which really helps, but he will not let us brush his teeth.  This product has some great reviews, so I'm hoping it might help in between his cleanings.

If you've tried it, what are your thoughts?

Oratene by Zymox. Available on amazon. Liquid water additive. Been using it for years. Do not have to cleans my cat's teeth. Tastless. Our vet recommended this and it works as advertised.

@9

Thank you.  We already use a water additive.  I'm asking specifically about PetLab Co. ProBright Advanced Dog Dental Powder.

Re: Have any of you tried this?

@SurferWife,  being unfamiliar with this product I started searching for information about it.

Before you make a final decision I strongly urge you to investigate sodium hexametaphosphate, one of the ingredients and its possible effects on dogs.

Looking at the low star reviews on Amazon there seems to be a consistency in the key points for the low star ratings.

It seems to me that particular chemical could be more problematic than any benefits of the product.

I have not tried it for my dogs @SurferWife but I'd be interested in reading results here.

@monicakm

Do you mean the image that ends in   xxx.gif?

.gif    is a format for that particular image   like    .jpg   or    .webp

~~  Beginning -  EDITED THE FOLLOWING   ~~~~

But I probably overdid the actual  (gif - format ) image with the doors opening

(I changed the image from "doors opening," to a calmer "WELCOME TO THE GROUP"

I'll change it to something more calming .. LOL

~~~~~~~~~~ Ending - EDIT  ENDING  ~~~~~~~
(added)
Before I change out that "opening the doors"   GIF   image....   if  you RIGHT CLICK on the actual image.   Select  COPY  then SAVE TO YOUR HARD DRIVE,   you can save it on your hard drive for yourself to use in future also.
(apologize for my *DUH*  understanding.. heh.  I just woke up from heavy sleep and i *DUH* around for awhile after such hard sleeping)
(added again)
Ive been trying to find out how to convert an     xxx.webp     files to an    xxx.gif     format.   No luck so far.  baffling me.
