VERY VERY COOL.   I would put a shelf right under the set of 3 stairs ( doorknob height ) to ward off the dreaded "Catch all counter" temptation.

Each stair has carpeting on it so the kitty can't ever slip.  Isn't that ADORABLE?  I just love it!
