I have posted many pics of our horses over the years and today we had to say goodbye to our Benny.  He was 30 years old and since we bought him 15 yrs ago he has had very brittle hoofs.  My husband has always did all the foot care for our horses and Ben would always have a rubber pad under his shoes to protect his hooves.  His poor old legs just didn't want to hold him up anymore.  He was a good boy we loved him so much.  I;m sorry I'm rambling on.

   What a terrible loss.  I am so sorry. It sounds as if Benny had a great home with wonderful "parents."

So sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful horse. It's always a very hard decision to have to make, but you did what was best for him in the end.
