When my grand dog first met the first baby, she sniffed, nudged and turned to ask SIL if she should retrieve the baby.  

She was just doing her best, but this was a puzzle for sure.  Really odd fowl.  Still cracks me up!

Those are very sweet pictures!  My goldens have always been interested in the little ones, from babies to toddlers and even some older kids. The golden I have now will perk up her ears whenever she hears a baby crying, then she goes looking for it!
