Going out on a limb with Baby!

Have you heard about the German Shepherd in California that climbed

a tree to chase a cat? The dog is named Baby.

 

Owner walking Baby left her off the leash and she saw the cat and chased

him right up the tree. Firefighters came to the rescue. 

 

Wow! They got the dog down safely but the stray cat ran off.

The story was on the local news a few nights ago.

 

The owner is not very responsible.  You should not let a dog off leash in an unfenced area while out walking in your neighborhood. The dog was lucky that time.  If she chases cats, she could run out in traffic after one next time.

It's an interesting photo but I hope Baby's owner keeps her on a leash in the future - for Baby's own sake as well as that of the neighborhood cats.

I hope the owner was fined for having an unleashed dog.

That's a sight, isn't it?  Both dog and cat got themselves into a sticky predicament.
