[Gabidog]

She slipped away peacefully and quietly in her bed at home today.  Last September she was not doing well and had stopped eating and I thought I was losing her then but she was a trooper and regained an appetite for several months.  I knew it was a pause and would have the same outcome.  She was a happy girl and never caused me any trouble.  I will miss her.  Maggie and Murfie help with that.  Good bye Gabi.

@Gabidog I'm so sorry for your loss of Gabi! But what a blessing that she went peacefully, on her own, at home. I pray for that for my two elderly cats.

You will all miss her, for sure--but you'll see her again one day, and what a reunion that will be!

@Gabidog I am so very sorry. What a heartbreaking loss. I hope that all of the memories you shared with Gabi will bring you comfort in the days to come.

Every night, I pray for the grace of a happy death. It is the greatest gift we can be given and I am at least relieved that Gabi didn't suffer.

I am so sorry you have lost your sweet Gabi. Your Maggie and Murfie will surely miss her too.

If it was her time to leave it was such a blessing that Gabi left peacefully from her loving home. I have a senior dog and have entered that era of keeping an eye on him as much as possible, but am always worried. I know you have been in that situation too when you thought you were losing Gabi previously. 

You said "she was a happy girl and never gave me any trouble", and that sounds like the best pet anyone could ever have. {{Hugs to you}}
