That photo is hilarious!

And I have to say for those thinking that it's "shameful" that these dogs are put in harm's way...other than drug or bomb-sniffing dogs, their *very purpose* is to take a bullet for the police. That's a fact.

They ARE true heroes, and none of us (including their partners) who love animals want to see this happen, but they're WORKING dogs.

It's sad. But it's not "shameful."
