Wishing the best for that tiny pup.  So sweet to see the other dog protecting him.  Thank goodness there are rescue groups to take care of animals like this.

That's the saddest most touching story @Kachina624.  I follow SNORT Rescue on Facebook and have been keeping up with Augustus.

@Kachina624  I just saw this on Facebook.  I do follow Auggie on the rescue site but had forgotten how he came into rescue.  This corrects the article a little bit.

To be fair, the title is a bit misleading. The lady who surrendered him did so because she knew she wasn't able to help him and wanted to find someone who could.

Too many problems.  He should have been euthanized.
