Kitters, who I adopted in May, is asthmatic. She is the second kitty with asthma that I have rescued. Both were prescribed flovent inhalers, which are filled via a pharmacy. Flovent has gotten increasingly expensive. At the time my Kaity was treated, the pharmacist told me the cost increases were due to the patent nearing expiration. The patent has now expired, but I don't believe there is a generic option yet.
My questions: Has anyone had any success with online pharmacy coupon sites for flovent? Which are reputable? Can the coupons be applied toward veterinary prescriptions?
Thanks for any input.

Aww. My kitty also has asthma and uses an inhaler for Flovent. Unfortunately, I have found no other solution than to pay it out of pocket. My new employer has pet insurance, but I haven't explored yet if the cost-benefit makes sense.
