Elli has to have the same procedure on her other leg. Of course, not until this leg completely healed. Probably not until next year.

No jumping, no jumping, no jumping! I kept my Cairn in her crate for the first...well, I don't remember now exactly how long I kept her in there. She was on strict crate rest! Took her outside to potty on a leash and right back in the crate. She was exceedingly great about it all, recovered nicely, and then later she could run like the wind!

The crate will only be used when no one is home and only for short periods of time. Retired staying with her as mentioned above. Thank you. Heart

@Sweet_Serenity, Sorry your sweet Ellie has to go through this, but happy that she will be ok.  She looks like such a cutie, and she’s so lucky to have a loving and caring Mommy.
