Duke, as you cross over the rainbow bridge, I wish you peace.

Dedicating my serving of Bush’s baked beans ( I like the maple cured and country style the best) with my July 4th hot dog or ribs to the memory of Sam, who played Duke.

Let’s all note that that loyal dog never, ever gave away the secret recipe for those beans. And he was cute as hell.

I will miss Duke so much. His real name was Sam.

Love the beans but loved Duke even more.

Thank you for posting this.  He was such a beauty and so sweet.  I just adored him on the bean commercials.  He worked hard and played hard and now he is happy and free with all the other sweet animals in heaven.
