Same for cats...they always want to be on the other side of the door...no matter where it is!

He goes out and just sits. And because he is outside, you have to be outside with him.

Today my husband was helping the elderly neighbor across the street clean up his yard. And dog was just as happy as could be, just sitting there supervising the two men.

In the warmer weather, either my husband or I sit out with him in the afternoon. We try and sit with him for at least an hour a day. I feel like I am living a scene from Lassie, Come Home. Where Lassie goes to meet Roddy McDowall at school everyday. My dog likes to sit and watch the kids get off the school bus and walk home. The kids like to stop and pet him too.
