The 49-second video shows the dog trapped in the railing of a balcony while onlookers anxiously stared up at it.A group of people waiting nervously below held a sheet out for the dog.

The video shows the dog slipping and falling through the railings while people screamed.

• Thankfully, the crowd caught the dog and saved its life.

How did the group of people that caught the dog happen to have a sheet? Can't say that is a item I could just pull out of my purse.

But thankful someone did or had the presence of mind to get one.

I got the impression he was stuck for a long time, and they had time to go get the sheet.
