Dog Chews Recall

(NBC) —Colorado-based pet food maker I and Love and You has expanded a recall of some of its dog chews due to potential contamination with salmonella.
The recall is limited to Cow-Boom! Strips Beef Gullet packaged into two-ounce bags with lot numbers ending in 4T1 or 5T1 and a best-by-year of 2016 or 2017.
No other products of the company are affected by the recall and there have been no reported pet or human illnesses related to the recall.
Salmonella can affect animals eating the products and there is risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products. Pets with salmonella infections may be lethargic and have diarrhea, fever, and vomiting.
People who have purchased the product should dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
