My 11 yr. old cat is named Tess, however, DH always called her Pud. Don't ask, I have no idea why. I sometimes called for Boo. She's afraid of everything. No one who comes to the house has seen her in years. She hides when she hears a car in the driveway.
Petunia usually only gets her real name when she's in trouble. Sometimes she even gets the full name, Petunia Smith. I tend to call her P cat. She comes running to that. DD calls her Little Miss sometimes or Little P.
Do you have a nicknames for your furry kids?

Spencer, my 11 year old Beagle, was adopted by me last year. He came from a shelter in South Carolina and is a wonderful little boy - however, he does have a nickname - STT. That stands for Spencer the Thief because every day he sneaks upstairs to my granddaughter's room to find stuff to take back to one of his beds. Yesterday it was an empty candy wrapper, a paper towel and her remote control. Why the remote since he does not know how to operate it lol. And no, he does not destroy his loot, just decorates his bed.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 So many!
12 year old Poppy:
Princess (because she is one)
Pop top (because of her bubbly personality)
Snot-a-Pop (because of her upper respiratory issues)
Then the usual: Baby girl, Sweet kitty, blah, blah, blah!
9 year old Booker
Booker Boo
Booker Man (because his markings look like a gray Batman cape & mask)
Bad Boy (he is one...but it's said with affection, because he's also very sweet)
He also gets the usual: Baby boy, sweet boy, etc., etc., etc.
Forgot to say: They're both cats.

I have a little 4 lb black pom named Lacey. I also call her Little Bit or squeaky (because she's been debarked).

When we had Clancy our last Irish Setter, his names included Nut-Nut for some of his crazy antics as well as Clancer-Dancer for his charming strut.
Just thinking about him makes me smile !

Are you kidding? Try 5...or 10 lol. Over the years our pets have had a multitude of names aside from their own: Big Guy, Tuffy, Boops, Angel, Buddy, Tut, Queenie, Tubby, Booful, Shorty, Tippy Toes (after a nail trim), Muffin > Muffin Tin lol, Toots, Stinky>Tinky>Tink>Li'l Tink, Buster, Slim, Gherkin...💞just a few I can recall now after decades of cats and dogs.
This SHOULD be a hilarious thread!
