I love my American Hairless Terriers. I've currently got two brothers (15 and 20 lbs) and they keep the Boston Terrier, GSD and Cane Corso in their places. Being Terriers, they can be spunky at times, but most of the time they're cuddly lovebugs ... and no hair to take care of.

I grew up with poodles, all sizes. I have two Chihuahuas (long haired) and love them. My hubby and I treat them like family and they are a joy to have. Very smart, alert and rather funny most of the time.

When I was about 9, my mother was gifted a Pekingnese by my father. Oh, he was just precious! He was just the most darling little dog. You are right - he was sweet, docile, adorable, loving and kind!

I am the lucky owner of a bichon frise as well. Smart, cuddly, and my best friend. She is also not a yappy dog - and has made my life a better one for sure!

I fostered a darling long-haired Chihuahua for a county humane shelter. I loved her at first sight. She needed someone to take care of her while she was being treated for heart worms. She needed a quiet environment which is impossible in an animal shelter. I wanted to adopt her from the beginning but the shelter doesn't allow it until the medical condition(s) are completed. My sweet little girl is officially mine now. She still needs to be leash trained but we're working on it now that she's well. She is so smart and affectionate.

My husbands dog is a Pek a poo. We got him at 5 months old. He is 11 now. We have loved on him and he has never been punished or abused. However, if you met him you would think he has been. He is scared of everything..... He is a loner. We have to be quiet when he eats or he will not eat. He is sweet to us but would bite a strange person or a strange dog in a minute. He is good with my other dog. If someone comes in the house he will bark non stop till they are gone and we have to lock him up or he will bite them. I must admit he is not an enjoyable dog to have. I have wondered if it is the pekinese side or the poodle side that he gets these traits. I would have rehomed him years ago but my husband will not hear of it. Once an animal comes into our house he stays till he passes away.
