HAHAHA, mine too! And sometimes when they just really don't have anything left to give, they look at me like, but mom I don't HAVE to go! lolol! But they also will go poop on command by saying "go poop". TMI?? lol. Seriously though, it makes it soooo nice traveling when  you can get them to go before starting off on the road and then at every rest stop.

TeeHee, we got that too, but I didn't know if poop was an allowed word.

It is great for traveling & rainy days.  Highly recommend it.  Easy to teach if your dogs don't have it, just keep saying those words over & over while they are doing it, soon it's association.

All 6 of my dogs communicate in one way or another. One in particular howls and such when we first step out of the car. He just goes on and on like he is saying "HI I missed you so much!" I talk to my dogs all day long and they understand everything I am saying. 

I feel that dogs are really very very special as they provide the love that God would give if he were to be here on earth. Neverending, sweet, and always attentive and patient

I meant to say they personify the love that God gives. Their love is pure love.

I had a little mini Aussie that was like having another person in the house.  I never talked "doggy" talk to her, just normal conversation and she understood every word.  I had other dogs at the same time but I could just give her a look if I didn't want to mention something out loud, and she "got it".  She was an amazing rescue.  She died two years ago of a ruptured gallbladder.

My dogs and a I communicate so well that's it is scary.  I use commands and hand signals and they know exactly what I want.

My husband and I have to spell certain words so the dogs don't know what we are talking about.  There are a few spelled words that they understand already.

Dogs are very intelligent and loving animals and they sure know how to train humans to their liking.

I swear my little Silkys are mind readers, or should I say psychic. I can just think "bath time" and they are out the doggie door and hiding in the yard in a flash. They can be snoozing on the bed and I think "I'm hungry" and they are THERE at my feet...amazing! They also know how to spell t r e a t e rs, w a l k etc. But the communication that I really love to see is the way they teach each other how to act...especially newbies in the family. We do Silky Terrier rescues and my #1 little older fella always lets the new guys KNOW he is boss and he teaches them what to do and more importantly what NOT to do (Momma don't like it when you do THAT! If you hear the f word RUN!). I love to watch how they have their own special "Dog Law" and nobody breaks it without consequences from the rest of the "pack". LOVE my Silkys!

I like to tell my little one what is going to happen.  For example, if she's hungry, I say, "First, WALK, then you'll have LUNCH" (with the capitalized words said a bit louder).

I believe she understands the sequence of events or is this my imagination?  I can't see why she wouldn't.  Dogs are clever, I think we all agree!

Experts say that a dog can learn 700 words, but I think they are wrong. I think they can learn far more than that. I can ask my husky's what they want in full sentences and they know what I'm saying and they answer me back.  I tell them to "Show me what you want." and they will do it. A lot of people under estimate the intelligence of dogs. C;-)
