Our Siberian loved to sing with my husband to our Elvis tapes but we never took him caroling.  Neither of them liked to perform in front of others.  They liked to sit and sing under their favorite tree in the moonlight.  Thank goodness at that time we had no close neighbors.

The collie who is my avatar would put his nose into the air and howl like a wolf when he heard a siren.   The world's most eerie sound,   I often wondered if it startled the neighbors.   Nobody ever mentioned it.

Our Siberian sounded like a wolf.  We got him in1974 and his papers were excellant.   I had borrowed a book from our library to read more about the breed and familiar names showed up.  I got his papers out to compare the complete name listed on each.  There was even a picture of his grandfather and other family members.  Our boy was the usual black and white.  One of his sister's was copper with blue eyes.  She was already spoken for.  The book confirmed the story we got from the breeder.

I know she would love to.  But  it's  to cold to have  her  out so long.
