How about Rosie or Scarlett?

I named my dad's red poodle Scarlett.

He asked us all for names & that's what he picked.

After reading everyone's responses, I loved "Scarlet" the best. Amber is a beautiful name as well.

My veterinarian told me that pets respond favorably to sounds like issy, missy, prissy, sissy, so why not Rosie.  That is similar and her color is Ruby and I am a ruby birthstone and it is rosie colored.

One good thing about hearing all these names is they will make you  think even more of the one you really like and that is right for you and her!

Re: Do You Want To Help Name My Puppy?

She is sooooooooooo cute.  She looks like a little peanut.  I do like your choice of Amber.  For some reason Phoebe comes to mind but that doesn't meet your request for no names ending in e sounds.  I have always heard that dogs do best with two syllable names but not sure if that is true.  I do like Isla-pronounced EYE-la.  It's a Scottish girl'sl name after the Scottish Island Islay, home to great Scotch,  It means dynamic, vibrant, brilliant, and bright as the sun.  Congratulations on your new addition!
