My last dog was a female sable and white collie.  Amber was at the top of my list for names.  Other names on my list were Savannah, Willow, Mackenzie, and Brandy.  I also like Mo, Button and Muffin.

We ended up naming her Maggie.  LOL.   Sometimes you look at a dog and the name just comes to you.  Maybe when you actually bring this little sweet pea home, the name will just come to you!

Naming is hard but i tend to lean more towards "people names"  lol

@tessam - I lean towards people names too.  It is kind of hard thinking of a name without an "e" sound at the end.  But, there has been a lot of good suggestions.

Only thing I have learned is not pick a loooooong name.  Feel so silly calling "Come abcdefgh".

I had neighbors that had 3 of that breed and walked them all at once . They were adorable! 

I like @nyc1  choices of cinnamon or nutmeg.

Whatever you choose will be the best of course . Amber is nice.

I knew someone that named thier baby D-o-g pronounced just like that. I said my that sounds exotic , is it another language ? Then she said --spell it out!--
