What a great laugh I just had. Thank you so much for this.

I put food outside for the feral cats and almost every night a skunk eats it. Even if I open the inside door to see it, he stays there and eats. I also have an opossum. I think the cats do get to eat once in a while.

My dogs, having no wisdom or common sense, would be all over that intruding skunk.

I have a lot of patience when it comes to my family and especially my daughters and grandchildren.

A mother has to be able to “reset” constantly when raising children, mainly when they get older.

It’s as if God infuses us with love a patience while we are pregnant.

Some mothers might have a little less patience; but often when necessary she can call it up.

As far as wisdom, probably depends on who you ask.

I pride myself on my wisdom and in fact am always trying to share it with anyone who wants to listen!!!!! LOL It took years for me to gain such wisdom and I learned much.

As far as patience is concerned, it is a different story. As I age I find my patience wearing thin more often than not. I think I have patience for others but I am a fighter for justice and what is right so you can imagine my patience with those issues! My mother was very calm and patient, my dad had very little patience, I guess I know who I take after in that department.

@Kachina624 We had a white husky mix when we first moved to Colorado. He actually made friends with a skunk. It slept with him (outside lol ) and they shared a bowl of food and water together. When his friend was visiting I never got too close...DW
