Re: Disturbing a sleeping cat

I wish my cat had been sleeping any which way on my bed last night.

Instead, sometime several hours after I had fallen asleep in the dead of night, I'm awakened by a loud crash! from somewhere.  I get up and start searching the house.  The dog is still sound asleep, but neither cat is anywhere to be found.  Aha.  Immediately considered to be suspects.

I never did find either cat, but I did eventually find the pictures on the wall of my kitchen/breakfast nook are now on the floor and a few things on the kitchen counter askew.  Aha again.  I now know exactly what happened.

My littlest cat has been having great success lately at jumping from his shorter cat towers to the top of my high cabinets.  So, I guess he expected he could do the same thing and get on top of the kitchen cabinets.  It didn't work.

But at least I had the bed to myself for the rest of the night.🥱😴

Re: Disturbing a sleeping cat

I have lots of different beds for my four girl cats (3 Himmys, 1 Persian) to snuggle in during cold weather in my bedroom. They all have their favorites, but sometimes trade off.

When I would return from a business trip, all of them would climb on top of me and cuddle next to me in the bed because they were so happy to have me home.  It is the best welcome possible ever!

My littlest baby, a five pound silver-shaded Persian (total fluff!), always wakes me every morning with gentle licks and soft touches.  She is a devoted diva!
